Commitment & Care
Volunteering is Caring that brings Smiles
Hospice volunteers can work closely with the hospice’s bereavement staff. Duties may include assisting a support group facilitator, serving refreshments, or helping with mailings to families. A volunteer with clerical skills can serve a hospice by helping in the office with administrative duties.
What it Means to be a Caring Hearts Hospice Volunteer.
Hospice volunteers help provide patients and families with compassionate care and support during the end-of-life process. The level of personal connection and support that volunteers provide allows for a greater level of end-of-life care satisfaction for patients enrolled in hospice care
